The CILS certificate is a title officially recognized certifying the degree
of linguistic and communicative competence in Italian as L2.
The CILS certification is the first certification of Italian to have adopted
a system of six levels of linguistic and communicative competence as
proposed by the Common European Framework of Reference of the
Council of Europe and it indicates certification forms for specific employees
of foreign origin in Italy.
